About The Position

The IT Service Operations Administrator is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the Davidson campus lifecycle management of PC hardware. This role involves communicating with users regarding PC refreshes, tracking returns, factory resetting PCs, ensuring timely returns to Dell or donations, and maintaining accurate documentation in the system. Additionally, the role includes performing standard health checks and documenting the status of campus IT infrastructure. A strong adherence to standard work procedures and organization skills are essential for this role. Role is during normal business hours, with occasional overtime.

  • Minimum high school diploma or technical degree.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Teams, Outlook
  • Basic understanding of Windows Operating System

Responsibilities

  • Follow standard procedures for communicating with users regarding PC refresh schedules and processes.
  • Track the return of PC’s to Dell or donations.
  • Perform PC factory resets as per standard work.
  • Conduct regular health checks on campus IT infrastructure and document findings as per standard work.
  • Send reports on PC refresh status, donations, returns, and campus health checks.
  • Strong adherence to standard work.
  • Maintain accurate inventory counts and provide reports related to assets.
  • Identify process improvements and contribute to the development of best practices.
