About The Position

Seeking an IT Accountability / eMASS Support Specialist to maintain IT asset inventories and support eMASS system monitoring within the Directorate at Fort Benning, GA. This role maintains a list of all computers, laptops, servers, and above-baseline software by individual employee name, establishes task spreadsheets with POCs and reporting frequencies, and monitors all due outs and artifacts for all systems in eMASS. This is a non-personal services contract position. The contractor employee reports directly to the Prime Contractor for HR, disciplinary, and administrative matters, while receiving work direction from the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR). This is an in-person, on-site position.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum three (3) years of IT helpdesk, technical support, or asset management experience
  • U.S. Citizenship required
  • Ability to obtain a DoD Common Access Card (CAC) prior to onboarding
  • Must possess and maintain at least one (1) prior to onboarding: CompTIA Security+, EC-Council Certified Network Defender (CND), GIAC Foundational Cybersecurity Technologies (GFACT), or GIAC Security Essentials Certification (GSEC)
  • Minimum 20 hours annually of Continuous Professional Development, or the minimum required to maintain certification, whichever is greater
  • Expected to possess eMASS experience at contract start to perform immediately upon award
  • Fluent in written and verbal English
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams
  • Must obtain legal entry authorization to Fort Benning prior to commencing work
  • Must be issued a Common Access Card (CAC)
  • Must comply with all DoD security regulations and safeguard Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI)
  • Must pass background checks and base access control registration
  • Must complete AT Level I Training, iWATCH Training, OPSEC training, and IA/IT awareness training
  • Must complete annual Cyber Awareness training (~2 hours)
  • Must sign and abide by an Army IT User Agreement

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience with eMASS, DRMO disposal, or IT asset management
  • Knowledge of DoD 8570.01-M requirements
  • Experience with Army IT systems and networks
  • Familiarity with Cyber Awareness training and Army IT User Agreement requirements

Responsibilities

  • Maintain a list of all computers, laptops, servers, and all above-baseline software (follow eMASS template) by individual (employee) name
  • Establish task spreadsheet with POCs and reporting frequencies for all systems in eMASS
  • Monitor all due outs and artifacts for all systems in eMASS
  • Maintain IT asset lifecycle from procurement through disposal via DRMO
  • Maintain accurate records and logs for all IT assets
  • Support the command's IT accountability requirements
  • Provide clerical and administrative assistance to the IT Office
  • Create and maintain technical documentation (SOPs, user guides)
  • Draft user communications regarding outages and updates
  • Perform other IT-related duties as assigned
