The Isolation Filling and Controls Technician role entails the preventive maintenance of Isolation filling equipment/systems used for the filling and conveyance of liquid-filled sterile containers. This role supports the assembly, troubleshooting, and qualification of automated systems with a focus on electrical, software, and control systems. The technician will read electrical schematics, assemble and install machines and subassemblies, troubleshoot and wire control panels, and install pneumatic plumbing in automated equipment. They will also troubleshoot, install, and repair sensors, actuators, relays, and basic I/O connections, perform basic electrical troubleshooting and replace faulty components, and make adjustments to PLC logic for improved machine operation with engineering support. Additionally, the role involves performing equipment preventive maintenance, identifying and correcting unsafe conditions, maintaining safety expectations by working safely and using proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), correcting/reporting unsafe behaviors or equipment, maintaining housekeeping of their work area, assisting department supervision to ensure departmental goals are met, and performing any other tasks/duties as assigned by management.
