About The Position
The ISO Transportation Manager is responsible for all transportation related activities of an ISO Depot, including promoting business growth and customer satisfaction.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- Minimum of 5 years relevant experience
- Staff supervision experience
- Familiarity with DOT and OSHA regulations
- Experience managing a location of similar scope
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule
- Ability to read, write and speak English proficiently

Responsibilities
- Supervise Driver Managers including ensuring accurate and efficient dispatching and load planning.
- Develop positive relationships with customers including coordinating activities, resolving issues, and soliciting work.
- Monitor and train staff for consistent and efficient processes including proper dispatching.
- Coordinate as needed with yard, shop, and wash leadership to ensure timely and efficient execution of activities to meet customer needs.
- Ensure chassis and tractors are kept current with servicing and inspections.
- Recruiting, hiring, termination of drivers and terminal staff.
- Manage dispatch to identify resource needs and training and development needs are met.
- Enforce and practice all safety rules of the Company and all government agencies, including but not limited to DOT and OSHA.
- Ensure both internal and external customers are treated with courtesy, discretion, and sound judgement.
- Communicate with Sales department where appropriate including potential new customer opportunities.
- Other duties as assigned by Depot Manager.
