ISO 9001 Auditor at Worcester MA 1099 Contractor
About The Position
We are seeking an experienced ISO 9001 Auditor for a 1099 contract role. The primary responsibility will be to perform audits at our clients' suppliers' manufacturing sites using Pro QC checklists. This role involves identifying relevant risks and potential issues through process audits, classifying audit findings against ISO 9001 requirements, communicating findings with the audit team, and issuing audit reports by the due date. The current project is estimated to be 1 to 2 man-days, with potential for variation based on client needs. As a 1099 contractor, project schedules may vary depending on site availability. The role requires travel to Chicopee, MA and surrounding areas, with the exact client address provided only upon contractor confirmation.
Requirements
- 5+ years' experience as a ISO 9001 Lead Auditor
- Require a manufacturing and operations backgrounds: Manufacturing (automotive, aerospace, electronics, metal fabrication, plastics, etc.)
- Engineering (mechanical, electrical, industrial, chemical)
- Quality assurance and quality control
- Operations and production management
- Supply chain and logistics
- Construction and infrastructure
- Food processing and packaging
- Healthcare and medical devices
- Energy and utilities
Responsibilities
- Performing the audit at the manufacturing sites of our clients' suppliers per Pro QC checklists.
- Using the process audit to identify relevant risks and point out potential issues.
- Looking at audit findings and classifying them against the ISO 9001 requirements.
- Communicate findings with the audit team and issue audit report within due day.
