About The Position

The IS Specialist supports Indirect Procurement by providing hands-on technical leadership for critical Procurement and enterprise needs through consistent, integrated, user-friendly technology and processes. The role is responsible for deploying, transforming, and managing software suites used for Indirect Procurement, including SAP Concur, Vendor Management Systems, and Oversight. It supports the internal Indirect Procurement organization and key enterprise stakeholders. The position designs middleware integrations, architects technology solutions, develops Power BI reports, supports customers, and coordinates work across projects, operations, and support teams. It also supports Vendor Management application audit tasks, SAP Concur deployments, adoption, and continuous improvement. The role is onsite five days a week; Peoria, Illinois, or Irving, Texas, is listed as the ideal location.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or 10-plus years of equivalent experience.
At least 5 years of experience in relational database design, data modeling, and SQL.
Experience designing and developing Power BI reports.
Proficiency in English.
Strong experience designing and implementing API integrations, including RESTful services and system-to-system integrations.
Working knowledge of AI concepts, capabilities, and enterprise use cases, with the ability to identify opportunities for AI adoption.
Hands-on Snowflake experience across development and administration.
Strong experience architecting enterprise-wide ETL/ELT solutions across diverse systems and data platforms, including defining scalable integration patterns, technology strategies, and target-state architectures spanning legacy and cloud technologies.

Nice To Haves

SAP Concur experience.
Beeline or IQNavigator experience.
At least 8 years of experience in middleware technologies such as Datastage or Snaplogic.
At least 6 years of experience with on-premises databases and 3 years of working experience with Snowflake.
Experience building PowerApps.
Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and conceptualization skills.
Experience managing multiple projects using project management methodologies.
Experience with scripting languages such as VBScript or JavaScript.
Consistent willingness and interest in learning new technologies.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and deploy middleware jobs using Datastage or Snaplogic to connect source and target systems.
Provide technical leadership and architect project solutions based on business requirements.
Collaborate with senior stakeholders and business users to gather VOB/VOC and business requirements and prepare implementation plans.
Provide front-line customer support and help resolve support issues.
Oversee audit-related tasks for the Vendor Management application.
Coordinate multiple engagements across projects, operations, and support teams to complete work on time and within budget using the demand management methodology.
Design and develop Power BI reports based on business needs.
Mentor and coach the team on technical challenges when needed.
Drive adoption and identify continuous improvement opportunities, including standardization, simplification, and risk mitigation.
Gather business requirements and work with stakeholders to deploy SAP Concur.
Learn and implement new technologies.
