About The Position

The Iron Worker is responsible for completing structural iron and steel erection tasks in a timely, quality manner while maintaining safety and productivity. The role assists with layout, assembly, and installation of structural steel, which may include taking measurements, setting up rigging, unloading and shaking out material, installing safety lines and posts, and cleaning and maintaining a safe work area. The work environment may include manufacturing, pipeline, and refining settings; repair of overhead bridge crane runway systems; limited working surfaces and visibility; exposure to extreme cold and hot temperatures, noise above 85 decibels, and intense odors. The role requires compliance with applicable safety regulations, personal protective equipment requirements, and Loenbro's Environmental Health and Safety policies. Requirements

GED or high school diploma.
TWIC Card and/or Real ID.
Ability to work at heights in various weather conditions.
Ability to work from ladders and scaffolds.
Comply with applicable safety regulations, PPE requirements, and Loenbro's Environmental Health and Safety policies.

Nice To Haves

Ability to perform physically demanding tasks during long shifts.
Math skills, including adding and subtracting fractions.
Valid driver's license.
Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities
