About The Position
The Iron Worker 3 provides support for new and existing work within the business line. The position performs bolt-up assembly for structural components in a fabrication facility and may require working outside. The role works under immediate supervision. Candidates should have education and/or experience equivalent to a one-year certificate from a college or technical school, along with 4–5 years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. The job requires mathematical skills, reasoning ability, and the ability to meet its physical demands.

Responsibilities
- Read and interpret instructions and documentation, and plan work activities.
- Visually inspect and receive materials in all-weather conditions.
- Visualize objects in three dimensions from plans and drawings.
- Compare differences in the size, shape, and form of lines, figures, and objects.
- Select equipment and determine layout for assembly and installation.
- Lay out, position, align, and fit components together for installation.
- Work under immediate supervision.
