About The Position

Kohler Co. is seeking an Iron Foundry Operator for their Cast Iron division at the Kohler, WI location. This role is responsible for operating the Herman 12' machine and contributing to the manufacturing of high-quality cast iron products. Requirements

• Must be able to work in the US without restriction or sponsorship.
• Effective communication skills for manufacturing production processes.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to perform the essential duties of the position with or without reasonable accommodation including but not limited to bending, lifting, and pushing weight.
• Successful completion of a drug screen and background check.

Nice To Haves

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1+ year of manufacturing, industrial, or warehouse experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follow all safety procedures including LO/TO, Confined space training, and Hazardous waste training.
• Operate PIV and Bobcat, complete associated checklists, and perform battery change-outs and fill fuel cans.
• Clean sand from the floor around belts and hydraulic units.
• Haul waste sand to the appropriate sand hopper.
• Maintain and fill the pattern spray tank as required.
• Maintain sand levels in the machine by adding sand as required.
• Perform daily OPM checklist and submit the completed sheet.
• Learn all jobs to relieve other operators for breaks.
• Operate hoist and crane, and complete safety checklists.
• Attend daily tier 1 meetings.
