About The Position

The Outside Processing Buyer is responsible for managing the day-to-day work activities of supply chain management, which includes writing purchase orders, negotiating price and delivery, and managing supplier performance. This role involves working closely with internal teams such as sales, engineering, planning, and manufacturing, as well as interfacing with external vendors and suppliers. Key responsibilities also include creating and maintaining purchase orders, managing raw material allocation, usage planning, quoting, and receiving.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Strong technical aptitude along with the ability to work independently but also interact closely professional with other departments, customers, and vendors
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent computer skills with proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Access)
  • Able to multi-task in a fast paced environment
  • Must be available to work daily OT and weekends

Nice To Haves

  • Oracle ERP experience preferred
  • Experience in supply chain preferred
