This role is a full-time, first-shift position working 12-hour days (6 am-6 pm) on a 4-on-4-off rotation. The starting pay is $29.27 per hour, with a 7-10% night differential added to the base pay. Pay increases are eligible every six months for the first two years. The Utility Operator 2 position is an advanced role within the production team, involving cross-training in several production areas and operating equipment such as cheese-making and whey-drying equipment. This role has a direct impact on operations and quality. Utility operators are trained to run multiple pieces of equipment, offering variety in their tasks.

Requirements

• Demonstrated solid judgment abilities.
• Work flexibility is a must.
• Willingness to work overtime on occasion.

Nice To Haves

• Cross-trained in several production positions.
• Experience as a lead operator.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment such as cheese making equipment and whey drying equipment.
• Establish and maintain effective working relationships with team members.
• Provide guidance to trainees and co-workers.
• Ensure accurate records are maintained properly.
