About The Position

The IRA Cycle Counter II performs accurate cycle counts of component and finished-goods inventory in warehouse, shipping, and production areas, including inventory stored at high elevations. The position supports a 99% inventory-accuracy goal and contributes to warehouse efficiency and product availability. The role uses RF scanners and a Warehouse Management System (WMS), and operates forklift reach trucks to access high-level inventory. It also involves locating lost or misallocated inventory, consolidating product and storage space, observing safety requirements, and maintaining reliable attendance.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Comfort working at high elevations, including stock pickers and high racking.
• Basic clerical skills, including reading, writing, typing, and spelling.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in inventory counting.
• Basic clerical and communication skills.
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, climbing, and standing for long periods.
• Ability to follow safety guidelines and report observed hazards.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.

Nice To Haves

• 6 months to 1 year of forklift reach truck experience preferred.
• 6 months to 1 year of experience using RF scanning equipment preferred.
• Experience with RF scanners and Warehouse Management Systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Routinely cycle count inventory as directed by the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
• Use RF scanners to accurately input inventory data into the WMS.
• Operate forklift reach trucks to access and count high-level inventory.
• Verify Handling Unit (HU) quantities and batch numbers accurately.
• Perform search-and-rescue tasks to locate lost or misallocated inventory.
• Rotate and retrieve product to consolidate space and minimize storage needs.
• Remain aware of surroundings and report safety hazards.
• Perform additional duties or projects as assigned by executive management.
• Maintain reliable and consistent attendance.
