About The Position

The IRA Cycle Counter II performs accurate cycle counts of component and finished goods inventory in warehouse, shipping, and production areas, including inventory at high elevations. The role supports a 99% inventory accuracy goal and contributes to warehouse efficiency and product availability. The position uses RF scanners and the Warehouse Management System (WMS), and may involve operating forklift reach trucks to access elevated inventory.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic clerical skills, including reading, writing, typing, and spelling.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in inventory counting.
• Basic clerical and communication skills.
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, climbing, and standing for long periods.
• Must follow safety guidelines and report hazards as observed.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.

Nice To Haves

• 6 months to 1 year of forklift reach truck experience.
• 6 months to 1 year of experience using RF scanning equipment.
• Experience with RF scanners and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
• Comfort working at high elevations, including stock pickers and high racking.

Responsibilities

• Routinely cycle count inventory as directed by the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
• Use RF scanners to accurately input inventory data into the WMS.
• Operate forklift reach trucks to access and count high-level inventory.
• Accurately verify Handling Unit (HU) quantities and batch numbers.
• Perform search-and-rescue tasks to locate lost or misallocated inventory.
• Rotate and retrieve product to consolidate space and minimize storage needs.
• Remain aware of surroundings and report safety hazards.
• Perform additional duties or projects as assigned by executive management.
• Maintain reliable and consistent attendance.
