About The Position

The IR Tech position requires candidates with specific skills and experience in Neuro interventional procedures such as Strokes, Aneurysms, and SAH. The role also demands expert knowledge of Vascular Interventional Radiology Procedures, which should be performed with minimal guidance. The typical procedures performed on the unit include Comprehensive Stroke Center treatments (Stokes, Aneurysms, SAH, DVST) and Level 1 Trauma Center procedures (GIB, EMBO'S, Gastronomy Tubes, Nephrostomy, etc.). The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, thrive in a fast-paced Interventional Lab, and possess strong teamwork skills.

Requirements

• Experience in Neuro interventional (Strokes, Aneurysms, SAH)
• Expert knowledge of Vascular Interventional Radiology Procedures
• Ability to perform procedures with minimal guidance

Responsibilities

• Perform Neuro interventional procedures (Strokes, Aneurysms, SAH) with minimal guidance.
• Perform Vascular Interventional Radiology Procedures with minimal guidance.
• Assist with Comprehensive Stroke Center procedures (Stokes, Aneurysms, SAH, DVST).
• Assist with Level 1 Trauma Center procedures (GIB, EMBO'S, Gastronomy Tubes, Nephrostomy, etc.).
• Participate in on-call duties, including one night a week and one rotating weekend per month, with possible holiday coverage.
