About The Position
We are seeking an experienced Interventional Radiology Technician with a focus on neuro procedures. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Interventional Radiology, particularly with neuro experience, and must be proficient in assisting with complex procedures.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Interventional Radiology.
- Current Illinois license (IEMA).
- Current BLS certification.
- Current ARRT certification.
Nice To Haves
- Travel experience preferred.
- Previous experience in neuro procedures is highly desirable.
Responsibilities
- Assist Interventional Radiologists with complex procedures, including thrombectomies, pulmonary embolizations, uterine fibroid embolizations (UFE), and Y-90 procedures.
- Maintain a high level of technical proficiency in Interventional Radiology practices.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort before, during, and after procedures.
- Prepare necessary equipment and instruments for procedures.
- Collaborate with medical staff to deliver high-quality patient care.
- Participate in quality assurance and improvement initiatives.
