About The Position

This position is for an IP Litigation / Life Sciences Associate with prior work experience in a biotechnology practice. The role requires a degree in a life sciences technology area and strong academic credentials from an accredited law school. The firm is seeking individuals who are independent thinkers with the capacity to assume increasing responsibility in a highly successful litigation practice. Candidates must possess strong research, writing, and analytic skills, the ability to manage and mentor more junior associates, strong management and organizational skills, and the ability to work independently, creatively, and successfully as part of a team. Ideal candidates will have prior experience handling and preferably managing Hatch-Waxman, biosimilar, or competitor pharmaceutical cases in district court or before the PTAB. All candidates must be admitted to the state bar of their preferred office location.

Requirements

• Prior work experience in a biotechnology practice
• Degree in a life sciences technology area (biochemistry, biology, chemistry, biomedical science, chemical engineering, molecular biology, pharmacy, or the like)
• Strong research, writing, and analytic skills
• Ability to manage and mentor more junior associates
• Strong management and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and creatively
• Ability to work successfully as part of a team
• Strong academic credentials from an accredited law school
• Admitted to the state bar of their preferred office location
