About The Position
This position is for an IP Litigation / Life Sciences Associate in San Francisco. The role requires prior work experience in a biotechnology practice and a degree in a life sciences technology area. The firm is seeking individuals who are independent thinkers with the capacity to assume increasing responsibility in a highly successful litigation practice. Ideal candidates will have prior work experience handling and preferably managing Hatch-Waxman, biosimilar, or competitor pharmaceutical cases in district court or before the PTAB. Candidates must have strong academic credentials from an accredited law school and be admitted to the state bar of their preferred office location.
Requirements
- Prior work experience in a biotechnology practice
- Degree in a life sciences technology area (biochemistry, biology, chemistry, biomedical science, chemical engineering, molecular biology, pharmacy, or the like)
- Strong research, writing, and analytic skills
- Strong management and organizational skills
- Admitted to the state bar of their preferred office location
- Strong academic credentials from an accredited law school
