Requirements

Minimum of five years responsible accounting including invoicing, billing, or accounts receivable
Ability to perform several tasks concurrently with ease and professionalism
Ability to operate calculator, computer, and other general office equipment
Knowledge of computerized accounting, but must be able to do a manual set of books
Proficient in Excel
Strong organization & multi-tasking skills
Strong problem-solving skills
Exceptional attention to detail
Must be able to maintain confidentiality at all times
Must have excellent interpersonal skills and customer service skills

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, preferred
Advanced knowledge of Ajera/Vantage preferred

Responsibilities

Create and send accurate, timely invoices for services
Cross-reference billing info with contracts
Manage and reconcile AR, track payments, and follow up on overdue accounts
Address and resolve customer billing inquiries, errors or disputes
Maintain customer billing data in accounting software (Ajera/Vantage) and Excel
Prepare financial reports on billing status, outstanding balances
Work with accounting department, project managers, management and clients
Prepares appropriate schedules and reports as requested by leadership or accountant.
Ensure adherence to company policies and accounting standards
Respond to internal and external e-mails/phone calls within 24 hours.
Performs other duties as assigned.
