About The Position

We are sharing a specialised part-time consulting opportunity for experienced finance and investor relations professionals with backgrounds in investor relations, investment banking, corporate finance, or financial markets. This role focuses on reviewing and evaluating finance and investor-relations documents and work products for quality, accuracy, relevance, and professional soundness. Selected professionals will assess financial analyses, investor materials, presentations, and related business documents while providing clear, structured feedback.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or higher
  • At least 2+ years of relevant professional experience in investor relations, investment banking, corporate finance, financial markets, or a closely related field
  • Experience as an Investor Relations Manager, Investor Relations Specialist, Financial Analyst, Investment Banking Analyst, Finance Manager , or similar professional
  • Strong understanding of financial analysis, investor communications, and financial markets
  • Strong analytical and document-review skills
  • High attention to detail and ability to follow structured guidelines
  • Strong written communication skills
  • Strong proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
  • Comfortable reviewing financial analyses, investor materials, and presentation decks
  • Able to work independently and provide precise professional feedback
  • Applicants must be based in the United States, Europe, United Kingdom, or Canada

Responsibilities

  • Review investor relations materials for accuracy, clarity, and professional quality
  • Assess whether financial and business information is communicated clearly to investor audiences
  • Evaluate consistency across investor-facing documents and presentations
  • Identify unsupported claims, unclear messaging, or inconsistencies
  • Apply practical judgement grounded in real-world investor relations experience
  • Review corporate finance analyses, reports, and supporting materials
  • Assess financial assumptions, calculations, and conclusions
  • Identify inconsistencies, analytical gaps, or unsupported recommendations
  • Evaluate whether financial findings are appropriately supported by underlying information
  • Review materials for relevance and decision usefulness
  • Evaluate documents related to investment banking and financial markets
  • Review financial analyses, transaction-related materials, and market-oriented work products
  • Assess whether conclusions reflect sound financial reasoning
  • Identify weaknesses in assumptions, supporting data, or presentation
  • Apply professional judgement to finance-related scenarios and analyses
  • Review Excel-based financial analyses for accuracy and consistency
  • Assess formulas, calculations, assumptions, tables, and supporting data
  • Identify calculation errors, inconsistencies, or unsupported outputs
  • Evaluate whether spreadsheet results align with stated conclusions
  • Review quantitative work for clarity and professional quality
  • Review PowerPoint presentations and investor-facing materials
  • Assess narrative flow, financial messaging, and presentation structure
  • Evaluate tables, charts, financial metrics, and supporting commentary
  • Identify inconsistencies between underlying analysis and presented conclusions
  • Assess whether complex financial information is communicated clearly
  • Review financial documents across Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Check consistency of figures, assumptions, terminology, and conclusions
  • Identify discrepancies across related work products
  • Assess overall organisation, readability, and professional quality
  • Ensure supporting information is presented accurately and coherently
  • Assess finance and investor relations work products against defined quality standards
  • Identify substantive financial, analytical, communication, and presentation issues
