About The Position

The Investment Management Services Associate is a member of Glenmede’s Investment Management Services team within the Product organization under the Platform Solutions department. The team supports client service, trading, and investment teams through trade support, separately managed account operations, private investment subscriptions, portfolio data integrity, banking services, and account maintenance. The role uses process expertise to reduce risk, improve the client experience, and enhance firm efficiency and effectiveness. It calls for strong quantitative, analytical, communication, and collaboration skills, along with a strategic mindset. The position operates in a hybrid work environment, with three days per week in the Philadelphia, Pennsylvania office. The associate supports private investment processes, SMA operations, portfolio data integrity, trade support, securities-based lending administration, relationship management services, and firm initiatives.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree required.
1–2 years of experience in financial services supporting operations, middle office, investor services, or related roles.

Nice To Haves

Prior financial services experience supporting middle-office workflows such as trade support, fund reconciliation, or alternative investment subscription processes.
Experience with private investment subscriptions and AML/KYC oversight.
Experience coordinating and providing operational oversight of separately managed accounts.
Proficiency with investment systems supporting equity trading, separately managed accounts, and position and cash reconciliation.
Experience using the DTC product suite, Charles River, DocuSign, Subscribe, Monday.com, and other workflow management tools.
Ability to organize and prioritize tasks, coordinate with team members, work under pressure, and multitask.
Professional demeanor and clear oral and written communication skills.
Organizational and problem-solving skills, with exceptional attention to detail and quality control.

Responsibilities

Coordinate with Glenmede stakeholders to facilitate private investment processes for clients and Relationship Management Teams.
Prepare private investment subscription packages using a third-party vendor, facilitate client review and execution of documents, track and resolve KYC refreshes, and manage investor action items throughout the private investment lifecycle.
Coordinate daily operations for Glenmede’s separately managed accounts program.
Work with investment and relationship management teams to facilitate client portfolio investments in SMA strategies and onboard new external strategies.
Perform control tasks to ensure workflows are completed accurately and as expected.
Perform daily position and cash reconciliation of externally custodied accounts.
Work with investment teams and external parties to troubleshoot discrepancies and ensure accurate data across investment systems.
Complete month-end reconciliations of externally custodied accounts to support accurate reporting data and client statements.
Support trade matching and settlement for Fixed Income and Equity orders.
Liaise among trading teams, back-office operations, brokers, and custodians, and communicate with front-office teams to address issues and proactively solve problems.
Act as the centralized point of contact for administration of securities-based lines of credit.
Work internally and with third parties to ensure collateral control agreement obligations are implemented.
Support client service teams by implementing account maintenance changes and producing specialized cashflow reports.
Participate in department-specific and firm-wide initiatives, projects, and business analysis supporting Glenmede’s strategic goals.
Contribute to the advancement of team, office, and business capabilities, and perform other duties as required by the position.
