About The Position

William Blair is recruiting summer analysts for its 2027 Investment Banking Enterprise Value Debt Summer Analyst Program, working with the recently acquired Armentum Partners team. The nine-week program offers opportunities to work alongside analysts, associates, and senior bankers across sector coverage groups, perform the functions of a full-time analyst, and gain direct client exposure in a collaborative and accountable culture. Summer analysts are evaluated during the program for potential opportunities in William Blair’s full-time class upon graduation.

Requirements

• Be pursuing an undergraduate bachelor’s degree with an anticipated graduation date between December 2027 and July 2028.
• Have a general understanding of accounting and finance.
• Have strong analytical and quantitative skills.
• Have exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Have strong computer skills, specifically in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Be adaptable in an ever-changing environment and able to manage change with a high degree of emotional maturity.
• Be highly motivated, detail-oriented, and able to thrive in a collaborative environment.
• Be willing to be located in San Francisco.
• Not require employment visa sponsorship now or in the future.

Nice To Haves

• Cumulative GPA of 3.5 or above is preferred, though all applicants are welcome.
• Any undergraduate major is considered.
