Piper Sandler is seeking a Class of 2027 Investment Banking Analyst to join its Technology team in the San Francisco office. Candidates graduating in May or June 2027 are encouraged to apply. The analyst program is a rigorous, collaborative, fast-paced and entrepreneurial opportunity to work closely with senior bankers and contribute to client work across investment banking activities, including equity and debt offerings, valuations, mergers and acquisitions, leveraged buyouts and strategic advisory work. Analysts create financial models and valuations, prepare and maintain industry-specific business development materials, conduct industry- and company-specific research, and interact with clients and senior bankers. The program begins in June 2027 with training at the firm's Minneapolis headquarters. Training provides an introduction to the firm and its capabilities, alongside technical grounding in accounting, valuation, financial modeling and general computer skills. Social and team-building activities help analysts build relationships with their peers. Top analysts may be invited to stay for a third year. Strong performers may be eligible for direct promotion to Associate without an MBA. The anticipated starting salary is $110,000 per year, and the position is eligible for annual incentive compensation. Total compensation is intended to be competitive with the market. Applicants must be authorized to work full-time in the United States without current or future employer sponsorship.
