Investment Banking Associate | Consumer Retail
About The Position
Goldman Sachs is seeking an Investment Banking Associate to join its Consumer Retail group (CRG) within the Investment Banking Division. The group advises clients in consumer and retail sectors on financial transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, leveraged buyouts, equity and equity-linked and debt financings, joint ventures, restructurings, activism defense, and financial investments. Covered subsectors include Food & Beverage, Beauty & Personal Care, Branded Consumer Durables, Apparel, Restaurants, Grocery Retailers & Convenience Stores, and Hardlines & Specialty Retailers. Associates participate on advisory teams, help develop and strengthen client relationships, and support the structuring and execution of financial transactions. They gain exposure to the firm's businesses and build analytical, communication, and marketing skills while contributing to client transactions.
Requirements

Nice To Haves
