Ethos Risk Services is seeking an experienced Field Investigator to conduct surveillance and investigative activities related to potential fraudulent insurance claims. The role includes stationary and mobile surveillance, obtaining video and photographic evidence, and preparing thorough, detailed, court-ready reports for clients. Investigators review preliminary reports and case information before assignments, then submit completed reports and upload video footage using a personal laptop at the end of the day. The investigator works with field supervisors and operations teams and receives regular guidance and mentorship. Assignments are generally intended to be within a two-hour drive of the investigator’s residence, although additional travel and occasional overnight stays may be required; overnight stays are covered by the company. Many cases begin at 6:00 a.m. Workdays vary with activity and typically last 3–12 hours. Weekend and holiday work is common. The independent role often involves long periods alone in a vehicle, in varying weather conditions, while remaining alert and ready to use videography equipment without external distractions. A background check will be conducted in accordance with applicable local laws and regulations.
