About The Position

At ICON Strategic Solutions, the Investigator Payments Lead works in a sponsor-dedicated model supported by ICON’s global expertise. The role manages and oversees the processing and tracking of investigator payments, ensuring timely and accurate delivery in compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements. It focuses on coordinating pricing and investigator payments, resolving issues, and developing team capability.

The role also maintains accurate financial records and documentation, provides guidance and training to junior staff, and manages communication and relationships with investigators, sponsors, and other stakeholders. Employment with ICON is contingent upon having the legal right to work in the country where the role is based.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, or a related field.
• Experience in financial operations, preferably in clinical trials or the pharmaceutical industry.
• Solid pricing and investigator payments experience.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a focus on accuracy.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for managing relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end investigator payment process, ensuring accuracy and compliance with contractual terms and regulations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve payment-related issues and ensure timely delivery of investigator payments.
• Maintain accurate financial records and documentation for investigator payments in accordance with internal and external audit requirements.
• Provide guidance and training to junior staff on payment processes and compliance standards.
• Communicate and manage relationships with investigators, sponsors, and other stakeholders to address queries and payment concerns.
• Coordinate pricing and investigator payments delivery, resolve issues, and develop team capability.
