About The Position

Empower AI is seeking an Inventory Systems Administrator for an exciting opportunity at the Department of State. This role is responsible for all inventory management systems supporting the hybrid VPC and global IT infrastructure for the customer. The administrator will ensure the provision of necessary inventory systems and administration of the warehouse and its contents. This includes administering a Government-approved COTS inventory management software capable of real-time inventory levels, shipping status, automatic packing/inventory lists, and achieving efficiencies. The system must also provide information required by the Integrated Logistics Management System (ILMS). Additionally, the administrator will manage a secure, web-based dashboard for customer access to the inventory system, with search/sort capabilities by order number, item, type, and internal reference number. The role involves upgrading and customizing the inventory system hosted on the DoS Intranet website as directed, producing standard and ad hoc warehouse reports, and ensuring annual physical inventory information is uploaded and discrepancies are resolved.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience
• Bachelor's in IT or related field
• Secret Security Clearance

Responsibilities

• Ensure provision of all necessary inventory systems and administration of the warehouse and contents.
• Administer a Government-approved COTS inventory management software capable of real-time inventory levels, shipping status, automatic packing/inventory lists, and achieving efficiencies.
• Ensure the system provides the appropriate information required by the Integrated Logistics Management System (ILMS).
• Administer a secure, web-based dashboard from which customers can access the inventory system, with the software capable of searching/sorting, at a minimum, by order number, item, type, and internal reference number.
• Upgrade and customize the inventory system hosted on the DoS Intranet website as directed by the customer.
• Produce all warehouse standard reports, as well as ad hoc reports, in the format and media requested by the customer.
• Use data extracted from the contractor’s inventory system on a bi-weekly basis.
• Ensure the annual physical inventory information is uploaded to the inventory management system.
• Report on and resolve any system discrepancies.
