About The Position

InfiniSource Consulting Solutions (ICS), a 150+ employee government contractor specializing in Management Consulting, Information Technology, and Professional Services to the federal government. Reports to the FMO Project Manager. Primary services include but are not limited to providing labor necessary to accomplishing furnishing management operations for Unaccompanied Personnel Housing and General Officer furnishings.

Requirements

  • Must be able to operate a Personal Computer (PC) with a functional knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications (primarily Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point and Windows graphical user interface) and Data/web based systems required for task area performing work.
  • Must have a working knowledge of Army rank structure and military unit relationships (e.g., Company, Battalion, Brigade, Division, etc).
  • Must be able to work under stressful conditions and be physically able to demonstrate the required tasks to standard.
  • Must have the appropriate qualifications, certification, and/or license under the requirements for the task area being performed under this contract prior to commencement of work.
  • Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
  • Monitoring/Assessing performance of yourself, other individuals, or organizations to make improvements or take corrective action.
  • Identifying complex problems and reviewing related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions.
  • Considering the relative costs and benefits of potential actions to choose the most appropriate one.
  • The ability to tell when something is wrong or is likely to go wrong. It does not involve solving the problem, only recognizing there is a problem.

  • Manager participates in prioritization of work and decision-making on allocation of resources.
  • The incumbent must be able to analyze a situation analytically, evaluate the facts/data and formulate a plan of action.
  • Must possess a valid U.S. state driver’s license, applicable for the type and class of vehicle being operated.

Nice To Haves

  • Preferred minimum five years experience in the Military.
  • Formal schooling, certification, and training from an accredited agency preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Perform the removal, installation, or movement of furnishings
  • Provides all necessary support to the Project Manager (PM) as required.
  • Processes requests for issue and turn-in for all classes of supply and equipment.
  • Conduct furniture assessments, inventory, removal, and storage of furniture
  • Maintains inventory of stocks and records for various types of furnishings received and processed
  • Properly sub-hand receipt furnishings to customers
  • Performs warehouse, area, and equipment maintenance
  • Properly assess the condition/serviceability of all furniture within the existing warehouse(s) according to regulations and guidelines
  • Prepares issue and turn-in documentation for all expendable supplies.
  • Performs inventory and storage activities; to include sensitive items, cataloging, property utilization, customer reconciliations, requisitions processing, issue and receipt of supply items, supply parts research and analysis.
  • Updates logistical reports daily.
  • Establishes and maintains automated and manual accounting records, post receipts and turn-ins.
  • Monitors customer services, answers telephones, and provides information as appropriate.
