About The Position

Darigold is seeking an Inventory Parts Clerk responsible for physically receiving parts into the plant, verifying shipments to packing slips, managing purchase orders, and verifying the correct inventory is on the shelf. As a member of the Pasco team, the Inventory Clerk will be a partner in Engineering Operations.

Requirements

  • Proficient with Excel, Word, Outlook.
  • Familiarity with EAM Utility Charts.
  • Active member of DPS.
  • Oral and written communication skills – ability to convey information clearly and effectively through verbal or written communication methods.
  • Emphasis on details, accuracy, and precision of transactions.
  • Excellent ability to organize information and review for errors.
  • Ability to work well with others in a team environment.
  • Ability to identify problems.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • High school education.

Nice To Haves

  • Purchasing knowledge preferred.
  • Intermediate level Excel skills specifically pivot tables and charts.

Responsibilities

  • Physically receive parts into the plant, verifying shipments to packing slips, managing purchase orders, and verifying the correct inventory is on the shelf.
  • Verify bill of lading and sign for all packages.
  • Perform Oracle receiving.
  • Open packages, verify packing slips against shipped parts, and check part numbers, quantities, and descriptions.
  • Contact suppliers for proper documentation if packing slips are absent.
  • Notify the plant buyer of any discrepancies between shipped items and packing slips.
  • Fill out a missing receipt affidavit if no packing slip is present.
  • Receive parts into EAM and Oracle on the same day they are physically received.
  • Match packing slips to 11i purchase orders, circle received items, and provide updated POs to the buyer.
  • Approve EAM POs in the EAM system.
  • Create PO Receipts for delivered and verified parts.
  • Put inventory parts on the shelf according to bin locations daily.
  • Pick orders for PMs and build kits for PMs.
  • Distribute kitted parts to the mechanic shelf with a note including the work order number.
  • Contact buyer or planner scheduler for assigned to information if not available on the open PO report.
  • Perform weekly physical inventories and one complete inventory per year.
  • Conduct quarterly inventories in accordance with critical spares corporate timeline.
  • Utilize SOP on how to take critical spares physical inventory.
  • Print and present physical inventory discrepancy reports to the Maintenance manager for signature.
  • Monitor Min/Max levels for ordering.
  • Maintain and organize the parts room.
  • Keep an RMA form for parts returned for repair or credit.
  • Ship out materials as needed.
  • Assist in sending new parts to be created in EAM.
  • Assist maintenance with parts look up.
  • Maintain 5S in the parts storage area.
  • Create 7I numbers and create and maintain bins.
  • Adjust Min and Max levels as needed for inventory.
  • Assist with quotes and vendors.
  • Keep EAM clean with assigned parts.
