About The Position

Fastenal is hiring an entry-level, part-time Inventory Control employee at its distribution center in Jessup, Pennsylvania. The role helps move products through the distribution center to company-owned branches and manages inventory by verifying shelf products and quantities through inventory checks. The position may offer a flexible schedule after onboarding, training, and meeting performance goals. The schedule listed is Monday through Friday, 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., up to 28 hours per week.

Requirements

Ability to lift, slide, carry, and lower packages typically weighing 25–50 pounds and potentially up to 100 pounds.
Pass the required drug screen (applicable in the US, Puerto Rico, and Guam only).

Responsibilities

Operate computer programs, RF scanners, and printers to label products.
Inspect products for quality and accuracy.
