About The Position

Eaton’s IS VEH VGNA division is currently seeking an Inventory Control Supervisor. This is a full-time, on-site position based at our Kings Mountain NC manufacturing facility. Relocation assistance is available to those within the US/PR. The expected annual salary range for this role is $86,000 - $126,000 a year. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. Eaton announced, on January 26, 2026, the intent to separate its Mobility Group (including both the Vehicle and eMobility segments) into an independent, publicly traded company. We expect to complete the separation by the end of the first quarter of 2027. The compensation and benefits that will initially be offered for this position are based on Eaton's plans, programs and practices. If you are offered and accept this position and are actively employed by the Mobility Group when the spinoff closes, the new company will provide further details to employees concerning compensation and benefits at that time.

Requirements

  • Minimum Bachelors Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations and/or Engineering from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum (3) years working within a materials function.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor inventory systems and work with business partners to resolve inventory concerns.
  • Plan and delegate Inventory Control activities including inventory system research and analysis, cycle counting of materials, storage bin audits and corrective action for material count discrepancies.
  • Create and distribute reports for Kings Mountain assembly and/or manufacturing departments.
  • Monitor KPIs and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Monitor various system inventory reports for inventory discrepancies or process issues related to inventory.
  • Communicate issues affecting inventory with team and business partners.
  • Document corrective actions taken and communicate results with business partners.
  • Schedule and coordinate execution of cycle count process to ensure all inventory is cycle counted at regular intervals.
  • Help identify inventory control gaps and provide recommendations for improvements.
  • Ensure team compliance with and support the health, safety, and environmental programs, policies and procedures.
  • Develop training materials and procedures for department. Ensure all department procedures (SOP) are documented and utilized.
  • Drive and support materials and plant continuous improvement activity.
  • Communicate effectively with suppliers and Eaton Business Partners at all levels of the organization; collaborate with team members within the department, cross-functionally, across the organization, and with suppliers or other key contacts outside of the organization.
  • Track and update daily, weekly, and monthly metrics and reports; drive improvements in key metrics (including safety, accuracy and quality, on-time delivery, financial performance, and excellence thru people).
  • Manage documents and projects as assigned by Materials Business Team Leader.
  • Lead tier meetings; Attend weekly materials team meetings to review progress of the team goals & projects.
  • Drive consistency and effectiveness through work standardization.
  • Maintain work area housekeeping and drive department / team housekeeping efforts.
  • Set the example by adhering to plant policies and procedures; assure adherence to plant policies and procedures by team members through accountability.
  • Lead the planning of and activities on the day(s) of annual plant physical inventory.
