The Inventory Control Specialist is responsible for receiving, sorting, picking, labeling, and delivering inventory parts to all departments. This role is crucial for maintaining a clean and accurate inventory record in the warehouse and within the QAD system. Requirements

5+ years’ experience working in a Stockroom/Warehouse, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Strong computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office, spreadsheets, and word processing.
Experience working with MRP/ERP systems/databases.
Ability to work in a warehouse environment
Operate a pallet jack
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Standing, walking, bending, lifting for extended periods.

Nice To Haves

Ability to follow written instructions and procedures with limited supervision.
Must possess effective oral and written communications skills.
Must be able to speak, read, and write the English language

Responsibilities

Package and unpackage inventory parts after receiving them from quality control and entering them into stockroom locations
Pay attention to detail by making informal decisions on stock shortages, inventory discrepancies, and reporting quantity issues
Running inventory reports within the QAD system for inventory history information, basic cycle counting, transfers, and reversals
Research and resolve all key issues, adjustments, and discrepancies with the stock room to maintain inventory control and continue to keep a balance between raw materials and finished goods.
Must have problem solving skills for addressing inventory issues, bottlenecks, and
Keeping inventory controlled
Proficient in inventory software QAD systems in recording data analysis
Controlling the flow of supplies and equipment
