Petland Inventory Control Managers help ensure optimal profitability and inventory turns for pet supplies, supporting the company’s mission of matching the right pet with the right customer and meeting the needs of both. The role also supports efforts to enhance customer knowledge and enjoyment of the human-animal bond through daily work.

Responsibilities
- Ensure optimal profitability and inventory turns related to pet supplies.
- Order supplies efficiently and accurately using Petland’s Point-of-Sale (POS) system.
- Maintain proper inventory valuations throughout the store.
- Keep merchandise neat, clean, priced, and fronted.
- Sign and display kits, end caps, stack-outs, valences, and specials effectively.
- Evaluate and seek timely vendor credits, coupons, and rebates.
- Maintain accurate records for invoices, vendors, and catalogs.
- Keep the stock room neat and organized.
- Implement Petland in-store marketing campaigns.
- Use common mathematical principles during daily tasks and responsibilities.
