Inventory Control Lead

About The Position

Manages efficient flow of inventory from the warehouse to the production floor. Provides the highest level of customer service to the Production team to maximize company success. Ensures on time and accurate delivery of parts to each Production line in a timely and organized manner. Evaluates inventory organization for most efficient space utilization. Provides Manufacturing with all required parts in a timely manner. Accurately sorts, maintains, and stages product. Maintains accurate inventory levels through cycle counts and/or daily checks. Ensures inventory is appropriately labeled and placed in the accurate bin locations. Rejects damaged goods and takes corrective action. Logs non-conforming product and verifies returned goods.

Requirements

  • Minimum of a high school diploma or GED.
  • AAON Forklift Certification
  • Demonstrates strong leadership abilities.
  • Communicates effectively in written and spoken form.
  • Possesses excellent interpersonal relationship skills.
  • Presents a strong, confident, and decisive personality.
  • Demonstrates strong multi-tasking capabilities and excellent organizational skills.
  • Works effectively in a team environment.
  • Works effectively in a fast-paced high-pressure environment.
  • Completes forklift inspections daily.

Responsibilities

  • Provides the highest level of customer service to the Production team to maximize company success.

  • Hires and trains staff, communicates job expectations, and implements company policies and procedures.
  • Evaluates inventory organization for most efficient space utilization.
  • Provides Manufacturing with all required parts in a timely manner.
  • Accurately sorts, maintains, and stages product.
  • Maintains accurate inventory levels through cycle counts and/or daily checks.
  • Ensures inventory is appropriately labeled and placed in the accurate bin locations.
  • Completes forklift inspections daily.
  • Rejects damaged goods and takes corrective action.
