About The Position

The Inventory Control & Distribution Specialist is responsible for the accurate and efficient receipt, labeling, stocking, and distribution of all incoming materials within the B3 Staging Area. This role serves as a critical link between incoming inventory and production operations by ensuring materials are properly processed, stored, and delivered in support of manufacturing schedules. The position requires the ability to operate with minimal supervision in a high-volume, fast-paced environment while maintaining a strong commitment to accuracy, organization, and safety. Cross-training in other areas within the Materials Department is expected.

Requirements

  • Ability to communicate in English language clearly both written and verbal.
  • Ability to comprehend and follow instructions.
  • Ability to work in a team environment, assist other departments when workloads demand it, and effectively work with all levels of the organization.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Must be able to count accurately and use scales; must be able to use a calculator.
  • Able to read and understand procedures.
  • Regular attendance is an essential job function of this position.
  • Must comply with TTM Export Control Policies and Procedures and all applicable laws including ITAR, EAR and OFAC including but not limited to: a) being able to identify ITAR product on the manufacturing floor and understand that access to these products and related technical data is restricted to only US Citizens and US Permanent Residents; b) recognition of Foreign Person visitors by badge differentiation; c) understand and follow authorization procedures for bringing foreign visitors into facilities (VAL); d) understand the Export and ITAR requirements for shipments leaving the US; e) manage vendor approvals for ITAR manufacturing and services.

Responsibilities

  • Accurately receives all material delivered to the B3 Staging Area
  • Distributes inventory to correct stocking area
  • Distributes inventory into factory orders or fills ticket request from manufacturing using the first in-first out procedures
  • Completes all cycle counts as assigned
  • Maintains all shelf-life materials
  • Maintains all ESD controls in the inventory and production areas
  • Maintains organization in the B3 Staging Area
  • Resolves problems as they arise
  • Maintains a clean and safe work area
  • Works effectively and responsibly with others
  • Fills ticket request from manufacturing using first in first out
  • Breaks down kits received from stockroom by operation for production floor
  • All other assigned duties as required within the materials organization
