About The Position

The Inventory Control Clerk is responsible for organizing and maintaining the stored inventory in a neat and orderly manner, keeping the stock at a level that will assure adequate supplies are available at all times. This role reports directly to the Director of Materials Management.

Requirements

High School graduate or equivalent certification.
Missouri Class “E” Chauffer’s Driver’s License.
Ability to communicate effectively and simply with every customer and co worker.
Ability to display a positive, courteous and friendly attitude toward all contacts.
Ability to build good relationships with others based upon a sustained effort of mutual support toward common goals.
Ability to exercise good judgment, reasoning and concentration to detail and to take personal accountability for all actions in carrying out job duties.

Responsibilities

Receives incoming freight and maintains all pertinent documentation of the receiving.
Alerts Purchasing Assistants Buyers to stock outs and materials for reorder.
Rotates stock.
Delivers supplies to Hospital Departments, and entering in charges for Nursing Departments.
Fills requisitions for stock items.
Assists with the Semi-Annual Physical Inventory process.
Responds to calls to deliver supplies in emergency situations.
Works with Nursing and other departments to determine proper levels of supplies needed.
Serves as backup hospital courier and mail room clerk as needed.
Other duties as assigned.
