Position: Inventory Control Clerk Shift: 2nd Shift Hours: 6:30pm-6:30am Days: Monday-Thursday Pay: $23.90 with an additional $1.00 shift differential Role Purpose: Responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy by verifying all inbound and outbound orders. Insure that inventory entries and adjustments are reflected accurately in the warehouse management system. Our Organization is an equal opportunity employer.
Requirements
- All candidates must be at least 21 years old
- Required to wear safety shoes, bump cap, safety glasses and long sleeves in the warehouse
- A minimum of 1 year working consistently with WMS or Inventory Systems
- A minimum of 1 year doing inventory, cycle counting, or auditing in a warehouse setting
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience working with Hazardous Materials
- Six months warehousing and inventory experience
- Forklift operator certificate or satisfactory completion of a forklift-training program within the first 30 days of employment
Responsibilities
- Partnering with the supervisor and management to conduct cycle counts
- Managing inventory systems
- Work in shipping & receiving as needed
- Assist with the handling and shipment of hazardous waste and materials
- Maintain inventory records
- Perform daily inventory management procedures and duties
- Coordinate physical inventory procedures and adjust system as necessary
- Follow procedures to accurately adjust inventory for over/short, defective, and damaged product
- Perform routine clerical assignments including filing invoices and maintaining records
