About The Position

Del Amo Motorsports Group is looking to hire an Inventory Clerk at our Chula Vista location. This role is responsible for creating and implementing a continuous inventory counting/tracking system to achieve 98% inventory accuracy, working with the interdepartmental management team to enforce, correct, and reduce errors from all staff members, and identifying and correcting all discrepancies regarding bin location and quantity of product. The Inventory Clerk will also maintain the department's inventory through stocking and seasonal orders, review and adjust Min/Max quantities to ensure proper levels of items and a smooth & accurate ordering process, create and maintain daily and weekly inventory synopsis reports for management regarding all inventory, and implement and maintain an inventory return and exchange schedule. Additionally, this role will identify slow-moving part numbers/old inventory and communicate to the management team, advertise products on social media to promote sales, answer telephones and direct callers, greet and direct visitors, check in visitors with gear and issue claim checks, take and retrieve messages, provide callers with information, and assist with other related clerical duties such as photocopying, faxing, filing, and collating.

Requirements

  • AA in business or previous experience in inventory management excellence.
  • Highly computer literate.
  • Proficient in Lightspeed, excel, word and outlook.
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Provides callers with information such as company address, directions to the company location, company fax numbers, company website and other related information.
  • Assists with other related clerical duties such as photocopying, faxing, filing and collating.
