About The Position

Cumberland International Trucks of FL, LLC is seeking an experienced commercial truck dealership Inventory Clerk for its Jacksonville location. The role manages company parts inventories and maintains an appropriate supply of parts to support the highest possible customer service while staying within the dealership’s inventory investment guidelines. The work covers medium- and heavy-duty trucks, including Class 7 and Class 8 vehicles, and brands such as Cummins, Eaton, International, and Allison.

Requirements

2 to 3 years of inventory control experience.
High attention to detail and analytical ability.
Professional, team-oriented approach and a strong commitment to customers and the service team.
Ability to pass pre-employment testing, including background checks, an MVR check, and a drug test.
Valid driver's license.
Ability to stoop, bend, climb, crawl, lift, and reach.
Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
Ability to work in hot or cold, wet or humid, and moderately noisy environments.

Responsibilities

Place stock orders with all company parts vendors.
Process parts returns to vendors while maintaining required schedules and complying with vendor rules and conditions.
Manage parts scrapping programs to keep unnecessary parts that cannot be returned at levels consistent with sound financial management.
Complete company inventory reporting.
Conduct regular back-order analyses to stay current with changing demand patterns.
Coordinate with parts management and accounting staff on annual physical inventory counts and additional counts as requested by parts management.
