About The Position

Oatey is seeking an Inventory Assurance Specialist to inspect all outgoing DC shipments to verify they meet order and SOP requirements. This role also involves recording, tracking, analyzing, and following up on results. The specialist will validate inventory through cycle counting and empty bin correction, reconcile company inventory in computer systems, and make improvement recommendations for accurate product counts. Additionally, they will process customer returned goods, damaged goods for rework, and production product waste, as well as locate misplaced goods and facilitate the physical movement of warehouse goods. The role also includes assisting external auditors with year-end test counts of physical inventory.

Requirements

  • One (1) year related work experience in a similar work environment.
  • Ability to work at heights with much attention to detail.
  • Working knowledge of additional equipment (e.g., handheld computer, computer and printer).
  • General knowledge of the production floor and products produced/packaged.
  • Knowledge of company policies and procedures.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Ability to make daily decisions and use good judgment while working with minimal supervision.

Nice To Haves

  • Some college preferred with advanced mathematics and/or science background preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitates physical movement of warehouse goods.
  • Assists external auditors with year end test counts of physical inventory.
