About The Position

The Warehouse Inventory Assistant Manager will be responsible for conducting inventory on all packaging materials. This role involves managing physical inventory of packaging materials, PPE, and other plant supplies for both Harbeson and Pinnacle plants, reconciling inventory processes in SAP, and maintaining incoming replenishment supplies. The position requires effective communication and interaction with vendors, customers, and suppliers, daily communication with the consignment manager for delivery schedules, and supervision of the package room. Additionally, the role involves monitoring packaging costs, managing excess and obsolete inventories, performing quality checks on incoming supplies, and ensuring documentation from suppliers is up-to-date and on file. The Inventory Assistant Manager will also be responsible for maintaining audit-ready records, creating new items, codes, specs, and packages as needed, fixing COGI errors in SAP, correlating with the Consignment Warehouse, managing the BOM for Harbeson, and preventing inventory outages. The role also includes entering requisitions for team members and performing other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Four year College Degree in Business Management or related experience.

Responsibilities

  • Manage physical inventory of packaging materials, PPE, and other plant supplies for both Harbeson and Pinnacle plants.
  • Reconcile SAP on inventory process.
  • Maintain incoming replenishment supplies including packaging materials (film, label, tray, bags, liners, and boxes), ingredients, CO2, pallets, PPE, plant supplies, and other miscellaneous needed supplies.
  • Utilize SAP requisition process for replenishment of supplies.
  • Communicate and interact with vendors, customers, and suppliers.
  • Daily communication with consignment manager to make delivery schedules.
  • Supervise the package room.
  • Supervise or help unloading of incoming supplies.
  • Monitor Packaging costs.
  • Manage excess slow moving inventories and obsolete inventories.
  • Perform quality checks on incoming supplies to ensure they meet required specifications and use.
  • Keep all documentation from suppliers up to date and on file (LOG, COA, and COI).
  • Maintain audit-ready status of records, documents, and inventories.
  • Create new items, codes, specs, and packages when sales needed.
  • Check and fix COGI errors in the SAP system as they appear.
  • Correlate with Cosignment Warehouse.
  • Manage the BOM for Harbeson.
  • Maintain all records for audits.
  • Prevent Inventory Outages.
  • Enter requisitions for Team members of our facility.
  • Assist other departments with requisition procedures, expediting, sourcing, pricing, etc.
  • Manage Harbeson Housekeeping Department.
