About The Position
The College of Engineering and Technology at Grand Canyon University (GCU) is seeking passionate and engaging adjunct faculty to teach part-time, face-to-face instruction at its Phoenix campus. This role involves facilitating classroom lectures, engaging students in learning course objectives, assessing student performance, and mentoring students. Adjunct faculty are expected to support the University's Doctrinal Statement, Ethical Position Statement, and Mission. GCU is a Christ-centered higher education institution that integrates faith, learning, and work, valuing diversity among its students, faculty, and staff.
Requirements
- Master's in Systems Engineering or related engineering degree
- Attach unofficial transcript reflecting degree earned with 18 graduate credit hours in the areas listed above
- Attach unofficial transcripts for any applicable conferred graduate degrees
Nice To Haves
- PhD in Systems Engineering
- 3+ years industry experience
Responsibilities
- Facilitate classroom lecture and discussions
