About The Position

The EP/Cardiac Cath Lab Interventional Technologist performs various roles involved in interventional imaging procedures. These roles are performed in accordance with established departmental policies and procedures to ensure the best possible patient care services are delivered. This role is located at Monroe Carell and works with the pediatric and adult congenital cardiac population. Allied health is among the fastest growing occupations in healthcare today. Requirements

  • Graduate of an approved discipline specific program (Required)
  • LIC-American Registry of Radiologic Technologists - Licensure-Others
  • Relevant Work Experience
  • 1 year experience

  • Possesses sufficient fundamental proficiency to successfully demonstrate anatomy and physiology knowledge in practical applications of moderate difficulty.

Responsibilities

  • Reviews radiology exam requests and patient identification to ensure safe, appropriate and cost effective imaging.
  • Applies broad range of skills to ensure exam is completed timely and meets quality and compliance standards.
  • Provides appropriate Interventional screening process to patients, staff and self according to prescribed safety standards.
  • Assists in the orientation and training of new staff.
  • Performs various roles involved in interventional imaging procedures.
  • Ensures best possible patient care services are delivered.
