About The Position
UMass Medical Group seeks an Academic Interventional Spine Physiatrist to join our growing team. Our competitive compensation and benefits package places us as your top choice in the region. The position is within a multidisciplinary Spine Center focused on collaborative, outcomes-driven care, working with a team including physiatrists, orthopedic spine surgeons, neurosurgeons, anesthesiologists, rheumatologists, and rehabilitation specialists. The role utilizes a Dedicated Spine Procedure Suite equipped with advanced, state-of-the-art technology. It is a high-volume practice with a strong emphasis on clinical outcomes and innovation. There is an academic appointment at UMass Chan Medical School with opportunities to teach and mentor residents and medical students. The position offers flexibility to shape your practice, with opportunities to pursue clinical interests, teaching, research, and program development.
Requirements
- MD or DO degree
- Eligibility for Massachusetts medical licensure
- Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation
- Fellowship trained in Interventional Spine Physiatry
- Interest in academic medicine and collaborative clinical practice
Responsibilities
- Provide care within an Academic Spine Program at a Level I Trauma Center.
