About The Position

The Interventional Registered Nurse works in the Interventional Radiology department at Columbia St. Mary's in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The nurse implements patient care plans, carries out physician and nursing orders, coordinates discharge planning, monitors and documents changes in patient condition, and communicates those changes to the care team. The role serves as a liaison among healthcare specialties to support coordinated care and evaluates patients’ readiness for discharge in collaboration with the care team.

Requirements

• Obtain BLS Provider certification within 30 days of hire or job transfer; American Heart Association or American Red Cross certification is accepted.
• Hold a Registered Nurse credential from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing before hire or job transfer, or hold a current home-state license if eligible under the multi-state/Compact State arrangement.
• Have a diploma from an accredited school or college of nursing, or the required professional licensure at the time of hire.

Nice To Haves

• Advanced Life Support certification; American Heart Association or American Red Cross certification is accepted.
