About The Position
We are seeking an experienced Interventional Radiology Technologist to join a dynamic acute care setting. The ideal candidate will assist physicians with minimally invasive, image-guided procedures while ensuring patient safety and high-quality imaging standards.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of Interventional Radiology experience
- ARRT Certification (required)
- BLS Certification (required)
- Active California State License (required)
- Strong knowledge of imaging procedures and patient care
Responsibilities
- Assist physicians during interventional radiology procedures
- Prepare and operate imaging equipment in accordance with established protocols
- Ensure sterile technique and maintain a safe procedural environment
- Monitor patients during procedures and respond to any complications
- Accurately document procedures and patient information
- Maintain equipment functionality and ensure proper room setup/cleanup
- Adhere to radiation safety and infection control standards
