The Emory Healthcare Network, established in 2011, is the largest clinically integrated network in Georgia, with more than 3,450 physicians concentrating in 70 different subspecialties. This position provides quality care to patients receiving diagnostic and interventional radiology procedures in the interventional suite and operating room. It involves communicating patient needs, ensuring complete and accurate documentation, and being responsible for the proper operation of imaging and specialty equipment while staying abreast of medical device uses. The role requires an adequate knowledge of anatomy and physiology, providing complex technical care, assisting with diagnostic procedures, preparing patients with sterile technique, minimizing radiation exposure, assisting with patient and family education, and potentially supporting research and training radiology staff and students.
