This full-time Interventional Radiology Technologist position is located at Riley Hospital for Children, working 4-10 hour day shifts with some on-call duties. A new hire bonus is available for qualified candidates. The role involves assisting radiologists/interventionalists in procedures, acting as a scrub tech when appropriate, and adhering to safety and infection control protocols. The technologist is responsible for following radiation safety protocols, understanding complex procedures, determining appropriate supplies, setting up sterile fields, and possessing advanced knowledge of cross-sectional and vascular anatomy. Effective communication and teamwork within a multi-disciplinary team (including critical care, ED, Trauma, IP, OP, Nursing, Oncology, Transplant, GI, Neurosurgery) are essential, as is documenting information in the EMR.
