About The Position

The Interventional Radiology Technologist (IR Tech) will perform interventional radiology procedures in a fast-paced environment. This role involves assisting physicians during procedures, including scrubbing and recording, and handling a variety of IR cases such as ablations. The IR Tech will be responsible for ensuring patient safety and maintaining high-quality imaging standards, while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams. The facility is a 176-licensed bed Level II Trauma Center, a Magnet Designated Facility, and a Primary Stroke Center, utilizing EPIC & MERGE charting systems. The unit has 4 Interventional Procedure Rooms and a dedicated pre/post area. Procedural scrubs will be provided, and orientation will last 1-3 days based on experience.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of Interventional Radiology experience
• Active Illinois RT License
• Active ARRT Certification
• BLS & ACLS Certification
• Associate’s Degree from an accredited School of Radiology
• Experience with ablations
• Ability to scrub and document procedures
