About The Position

This is a Full-Time, Day shift position (7:00 am - 3:30 pm) in the Cardiac Cath Lab at St. Mary of Nazareth Hospital in Chicago, IL. The role requires on-call availability. The Interventional Radiology Technologist will work under the general direction of a physician (Cardiologist/Radiologist) to assist with diagnostic and/or therapeutic procedures performed in the cardiovascular lab. Responsibilities include scrubbing procedures or monitoring physiologic and hemodynamic data, ensuring the procedure room is adequately prepared, monitoring instrument and supply levels, participating in departmental meetings and performance improvement activities, and assisting in training new staff. The technologist will also assist in all aspects of invasive and noninvasive cardiac procedures.

Requirements

ARRT-R and licensed as required by State
BCLS (AHA) required upon hire and maintain current.
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS); required within 30 days of hire.
Proficient computer skills.

Nice To Haves

VI (Vascular Interventional Technologist) preferred.
Previous experience in a Interventional Radiology department preferred.

Responsibilities
