Requirements

Must possess a clean MD license from any state, commonwealth, or territory of the United States.
Must be board certified.
BLS/ACLS certified.
Must be a citizen of the United States.

Responsibilities

Provide interpretive and patient care services within the scope of diagnostic/interventional radiology
Timely interpretation and communication of imaging results, including entry into digital medical records and verbal notification of critical findings
Provide consultation services, comparative reports, and participate in clinical conferences/committees as requested by referring physicians
Ensure overall safety of imaging patients, including oversight of contrast administration and response to adverse patient reactions
Review requests and ensure appropriate imaging protocols, preparations, and medications have been ordered
Assist, train, supervise, and mentor radiology residents in performing procedures and interpreting studies
Provide education and training to members of the medical staff through various conferences, committees, and lecture series
Participate in quality control/quality management, including department and hospital review level peer reviews
